Supermarket dresses and how to wear them old school

I love real vintage it makes me happy, but I find for everyday wear I'm worried I'll wreck it. So they real dealeo stuff comes out if I'm at a vintage fair or event. Let's have a chat about supermarkets, now they've cottoned on to the ever growing trend of vintage cuts, some go as far as to Use vintage patterns too! Here's my fave flavour take a look...
This is a sainsbury dress! It screams 1940 so I teamed her with the proper era hair and make up. I also added saltwater saddles in tan, and Bakelite bracelets.
Doing this stuff to my sainsbo dress made all the difference in the world. I can wear this out and happily feel I'm doing the era proud.

This takes me onto dress Two.

Just look at her in all her gingham loveliness. This one was shouting at me to be teamed up 50s western style and why not! Cowgal boots, wide plated belt and a western erstwilder brooch. jobs a good un!

My last and most favourite dress is a beautiful high neck Japanese style one.

I loved it as soon as I saw it and when I tried it on I knew I had to buy it. It's got a real 40s feel so I gave her the right era accessories. Wicker bag, cats eye sunnies, nude shoes and lacy gloves. I'm waiting on some cherry blossom hair clips! And it will be complete. If wear this with victory rolls for a more authentic look.

I like a supermarket, it's worth havin a rummage see what's about. You may find the perfect dress ;)
